One of my clients had just built a contemporary home on the rim of a rugged canyon, and invited me to see it.  The views from it's glass walled rooms were stunning, especially on this clear, calm day.  I was inspired to create a piece  for my client that would bring that view into the interior as it might appear in the most dramatic terms, as during a summer thunderstorm, so common in this area of the world.  Earthy colors dominate this piece with a vibrant orange accent representing heat lightening, as it adds nature's own brand of excitement.
